Interested in finding out more about the MA Dance & Choreography degree? We asked our students to share their experiences. This is Matilda Rowland's experience:
‘I decided to join the MA dance and choreography course to further my choreographic skills and learn about funding. The course has exceeded my expectations by taking an in-depth dive into dance research, choreographic skills, and funding applications. We have similarly had the opportunity to speak to artists, who work locally within the industry, about their practise. There is a huge amount of free rein to explore your ideas with guidance and feedback, and you can experiment with different ideas each semester. The course takes place within professional dance house Déda, which means you are already learning and creating within a professional environment. Additionally, you are able to chat with the technical team, producers, learning coordinators and other staff members about how they can support an idea or project once having graduated from the course.’
