Since
the age of two until my early teens I studied dance to RAD (advanced)
and ISTD standards. In my later years I took my dance skills into
martial arts where I earned two black belts in Lau Gar Kung Fu under
Master Yau.
I was a member of the Manchester Youth Theatre working on props
and stage design. I was also a make-up artist and designed the make-up
for the professional production of Terra Nova at the Manchester Library
Theatre in the early 1980s.
In my spare time I like to create characters and art from yarn and have become a big fan of amigurumi and needle felting techniques. Just recently I have been learning to illustrate in Procreate.
