Ballet, Youth Company Class and Academy Tutor

Megan's early training began at The Rollo Academy of Performing Arts in Nottingham, which provided her with a strong technical and performative foundation. She then continued her training graduating from the University of Derby and Déda's BA (Hons) Degree in Dance with a First Class Honours, going on to secure an internship with Adaire to Dance. Her style unifies her love for contemporary dance, acrobatics and intricate partnering. Megan currently works as a Freelance Dance Artist and Teacher, who also leads Déda's youth dance company.

In addition to this, she has developed her own contemporary dance company MSDC Dance. A contemporary dance collective based in Derbyshire run by Megan Smith and Danni Chell since 2018.
